A
50-class reproduction of the famous German
fighter. Regarded as a genius
of his time, the German engineer Kurt Tank designed the FOCKE-WULF Fw190 that was to become
one of the Germany's most formidable fighter planes. Flying alongside the Messerschmitt Me (Bf)109 strike fighter, the FOCKE-WULF won favor with
German pilots due to it's
lower wing load and greater
agility that gave it the performance
advantages to win control of the contest. From the many
variations produced, Kyosho has chosen the air-cooled
engine design for this product series. The lightweight
balsa construction is more
than 90% pre-assembled, leaving only a few small
steps for completion. The characteristic coloring has been recreated with the highly-detailed printed color film, expertly pre-covered for
stunning realism. Even the split
flaps and tire covers of the original design have been recreated
in the open-close retractable undercarriage. The 50-class engine provides wide flight capabilities
including dynamic stunt capability in the hands of expert fliers.
